The cost of parasailing tours varies, but you can expect to pay roughly $100 per person for an hour or so on the water and about 10 minutes in the air. That might sound like a lot, but the experience is truly memorable. Your parasailing experience could end with a dip in the ocean, so dress the way you would at a waterpark.

Most tour operators have boats that depart every hour between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Parasailing is most enjoyable when conditions are clear and calm, and tours may be delayed or canceled if weather conditions become treacherous. 

That’s why it is always a good idea to check the weather forecast before booking a parasailing excursion. If you want the best experience possible, take an early tour as that is when winds tend to be at their calmest.

You may think that parasailing in Fort Lauderdale and soaring hundreds of feet in the air will give you the opportunity to take some incredible photos, but that may not be possible. 

Tour boat operators advise their passengers not to bring camera equipment onboard, and some of them have rules in place. Instead, they offer photo packages that can add almost $40 to the cost of the tour.

Lastly thing here: there are plenty of Miami Beach activities to go around. But if you plan on splashing around in the ocean when you’re not parasailing, keep in mind that the jellyfish tend to like the warm waters as much as you do.
