In 2020, as another means to embrace the views of NYC from its waters, we launched our first one-of-a-kind Hot Tub Boat. Established by a serial entrepreneur with 30 years of NYC boating experience, Sea the City is excited to offer Jet Ski and Hot Tub Boat tours of New York City with a launching point just minutes from Downtown!
The owner is a lifelong New Yorker and has been boating on the waters of NYC since he was 12. He has always had a passion for introducing visitors and New Yorkers alike to the incredible experience of New York City by water. Our Hot Tub Boat and Jet Ski tours allow him to showcase the city he loves in a fun and safe environment. And now, he’s thrilled to offer this unique mode of travel as another means to embrace the views of New York City from the water.

A musical theatre artist and educator who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from New York University, Nicole took a detour in 2022, making her way to Sea the City as one of our Jet Ski Tour Guides. Like her performances on stage, Nicole exhibited a profound affinity for riding the waves and leading our guests on exciting Jet Ski adventures—ultimately becoming Sea the City’s Jet Ski Operations Manager in 2023.

I recently went out on this tour for my birthday party. All my girlfriends and I had a blast! We had a party of 12 girls but they were able to accommodate us with no problem. What an amazing time I had with the team at Sea the City!! I had only jet skied once before – so was definitely a bit of a novice at first, but by the time we hit the East River I was soaring! The views of lower Manhattan and midtown are excellent. We got to see Lady Liberty up close before zooming around the back of the island, so much fun!
Wow, we had an absolute blast. Jordan our tour guide was AWESOME. I highly recommend going all the way around manhattan, 3 1/2 hour tour, beautiful way to see the city! I’ll do it again next year!

Absolutely fantastic, perfect experience! Completely family friendly. Stunning views. Guides were super fun – and very competent and responsible. Very safe with maximum fun. Everyone was able to have the experience they wanted – some going faster and others more slowly. We are still raving. A unique way to appreciate the beauty of New York and the history of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. Pay for the photo option – totally worth it.

This was one of my favorite experiences ever. It was a beautiful view everywhere we looked, and the hot tub is the perfect temperature and the most comfortable. It’s a heavenly experience being on a boat while in hot water while the sun beams down. It’s among two of my epic hours I’ve spent. And the crew, were so sweet and nice and professional and helpful. They really made us feel taken care of and relaxed. I highly recommend doing this.

Just 10 Minutes From Manhattan By Ferry!
Sea the City is located at Liberty Landing Marina in Jersey City, New Jersey. We’re just across the Hudson River from Manhattan’s bustling financial district!
Parking is available on-site.
The easiest way to get to us is via the Liberty Landing Ferry. The ferry leaves Manhattan every hour on weekdays (weekend service may be suspended or different from its daily schedule … so please check with Liberty Landing Ferry directly) and arrives at our Marina in under 15 minutes. The ferry costs $7 per person each way and is a reliable and enjoyable way to reach us.
Board the Liberty Landing Ferry at Brookfield Place (close to the 9/11 Memorial) and you will reach the Liberty Landing Marina docks in mere minutes. Click here for the latest ferry info and schedule.
Take the PATH Train to Grove Street
From Manhattan, you can take the PATH train to the Grove Street Station in Jersey City. Once you exit the station, a 10-minute taxi ride will get you to our location.
